That means caching strategy that holds under stampede, live data feeds ingested and normalised from providers who each do it differently, and editorial tooling that lets a content team publish in seconds rather than minutes.

Our team has built storefronts and the machinery behind them — catalogue and inventory synchronisation, multi-currency and multi-region pricing, tax and duty at the line level, and payment stacks tuned for authorisation rates rather than just "it works in test mode".

Tariff classification, duty and landed-cost calculation, and cross-border trade rules are unglamorous and unforgiving. The logic is intricate, the reference data changes without asking, and an error doesn't surface as a crash — it surfaces months later as an underpayment.
Our team has worked on systems in this space, and the lesson carries: model the rules explicitly, version the data, make every calculation explainable back to its inputs, and never let a rule change require a code deploy.
